The Falling Skies Beanie is a wonderfully fun hat to crochet! The colour work technique used is not difficult or complicated, it just takes a few rows to get the hang of it! Soon you'll be addicted to seeing what different colour combos you can come up with! Included in the pattern are helpful tips and photos. It's the perfect way to use that gorgeous skein of hand dyed yarn you may have been dying to use. You can make 2 hats from one skein, just pair it with other yarn from your stash!

Adult Medium - head size approx 22”
Adult Large - head size approx 23”

Ch - Chain Stitch
Sl St - Slip Stitch
Hdc - Half Double Crochet
FPhdc - Front Post Half Double Crochet
BPhdc - Back Post Half Double Crochet

Colour X: Colour for top of hat:
110 yards required
(This yardage allows room for minor mistakes.)

Weight = Medium 4
It is a light weight worsted yarn.

Colour Y: Colour for bottom of hat:
110 yards required
(This yardage allows room for minor mistakes.)
Weight = Medium 4
* Make sure you also use a light weight worsted
yarn for this colour as well. As close to the thickness
of Colour X as possible.
